| --I received my Bachelor of Fine Art degree
at the University of Calgary in 1976, majoring in Ceramics, Photography
and Drawing. --My work is handbuilt and thrown, made from stoneware, porcelain or earthenware. I'm stimulated by change, and experiment with different ceramic media. My functional work is intended to enhance the dining experience. I make decorated bowls, platters, tea sets with cups and saucers as well as candelaberas and decorative wall plaques for accompaniment. My sculptural works are vessel forms based on classical shapes.  |
